Shawna Edwards
Changing Hearts and Homes through Music
Shawna Edwards is a mom, grandma, and songwriter. Originally a piano major, she returned to BYU 25 years later and graduated with a degree in Media Music.
Shawna put her first song on YouTube when she was 50. Her YouTube channel now has over 80 million views, and her songs have been performed in over 130 different countries.
But her greatest joy with her music is seeing its impact on one person at a time.
If there’s a takeaway from her bio, she wants you to remember two things: it’s never too late to start something new; and the best thing she’s ever done is marry John.
John and Shawna are currently serving together at the Provo MTC. They have five children and 20 grandchildren.
About this class
I will make a case for using good music to increase faith, peace and devotion at home. I will present lots of ways to accomplish this, including how to reach those who aren’t on board.
The presentation is fun and interactive and inspirational.
