Singing in the choir?
Rehearse “We Rejoice” — the choir’s opening number in the Evening Devotional.
- Which part should I sing?
- Sopranos should practice the top line and altos should practice the bottom line. There is a pre-selected group of women who have been assigned to sing the middle line. If you noted that you can sing both soprano and alto, please practice both, and we will make the decision based on our need for balance at the rehearsal. (Sister Staheli may ask for volunteers to move to the middle line during our rehearsal, depending on our balance of sound.) So, if you are a soprano and you feel comfortable with the middle line, you are encouraged to learn both the top and middle lines. Thank you!
- Choir check-in
- If you are in the choir or participating in any musical numbers, please check in at Door F. You will receive a sticker to put on your lanyard indicating you are in the choir. See the door map
- Choir dress code
- You may wear whatever you feel comfortable in. There is no choir dress code.
- Choir rehearsal
- Choir rehearsal will be during Class Session 5, 4:20 – 5:00 PM, in the Gateway Ballroom — both halves, G 34 and G 35.
- Choir dinner
- Please go back to the area outside Door F to pick up your dinner at 5:00 PM.
